Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 July 2026 · Applies to the Mingo mobile app and mingo.cards

1. Who we are

Mingo (the "Service") is a digital business card and contact-management application operated by Mobilio Asia ("Mobilio", "we", "us") — www.mobilio.asia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mingo mobile applications, the mingo.cards website, and card profiles served from our domains.

2. Acceptance & eligibility

By creating a Mingo card or account, or by using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you use Mingo on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

3. Your account

4. The Service

5. Plans, subscriptions & billing

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: send spam or unsolicited bulk outreach; harvest contact data of people you have no relationship with; upload unlawful, deceptive, or infringing content; probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service except where the law permits; or violate the rights of card recipients or data-protection law that applies to you as the holder of captured contacts.

7. Your content & our licence

You own the content you put on your cards and the contacts you capture. You grant us a limited, worldwide licence to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, serving your card page to a person who scans your QR code). We do not sell your content.

8. Third-party services

The Service interoperates with third-party platforms — for example the Apple App Store, Google Play, and the messaging apps you choose for sharing. Those platforms have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for them.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Mingo name, logo, app, and website design, is owned by Mobilio Asia or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our branding.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output (such as scanned or enriched contact data) will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobilio Asia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us through the app stores in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$20. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → delete account); deletion removes your cards and captured contacts as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 7–13 survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms; governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mobilio Asia is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
